漆溜塗りスチールハンガーラック／片山文三郎商店京都本店様 Urushi-Coated Steel Hanger Rack: Katayama Bunzaburo Shoten, Kyoto Main Store

「京絞り」の伝統を受け継ぐ染色の老舗「株式会社片山文三郎商店」の京都本店が令和7年8月にリニューアルオープン。伝統的な絞りとファッション・アートを融合させたオリジナルブランド「BUNZABURO」や新ブランド「KATAYAMA」を手掛け、注目を集める同社。今回90年前から続く京町家の本店リニューアルに合わせ、特注のスチール製ハンガーラックに漆塗りを当社で担当させて頂きました。

Katayama Bunzaburo Shoten, a long-established dyeing company and a pillar of the "Kyo-shibori" (Kyoto tie-dyeing) tradition, is reopening its main Kyoto store in August 2025. The company has gained significant attention for its original brand BUNZABURO, which fuses traditional tie-dyeing with fashion and art, and its new brand KATAYAMA.

To celebrate the renovation of their 90-year-old townhouse store, reopening in August 2025, we were asked to apply an Urushi finish to their custom-made steel hanger racks.

It was such an honor and truly inspiring to work with Katayama Bunzaburo Shoten, a brand that’s always finding bold new ways to blend tradition and innovation.
