セレクトショップStactileに朱漆のシンボル

「ファッションファースト」という概念に留まらず、衣服そのものに加え、その背後に ある文化的背景や思想、時間の積層を含めて提案してきた セレクトショップTHE CONTEMPORARY FIX 京都が2026年3月13日、屋号を「Stactile（スタクタイル）」へと改め、京都市上京区のかつて西陣織工場だった建物を改装しプレオープンしました。

既存の木造トラスや土壁、虫籠窓といった造りに、RCとモルタルで構成した新設部分を異物のように差し込み、一種の緊張感を演出したという。また、日常の中で「何を着るか」を選ぶ行為の意味を問い直すことをテーマに常設のインスタレーションを設置。

そんな店内でシンボル的に輝く真っ赤な漆の什器をこの度、堤淺吉漆店で施工させて頂きました。
本朱の漆塗りと、呂色磨きという手法で鏡面に仕上げ、深みと奥行きのある漆独特の赤を演出。

Beyond the concept of "fashion first," the select shop THE CONTEMPORARY FIX Kyoto, which has proposed not only clothing itself but also the cultural background, philosophy, and layers of time behind it, changed its name to "Stactile" on March 13, 2026, and soft-opened in a renovated building that was formerly a Nishijin textile factory in Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City.

The new structure, composed of reinforced concrete and mortar, is inserted like an anomaly into the existing wooden trusses, earthen walls, and lattice windows, creating a sense of tension. Furthermore, a permanent installation has been set up, themed on re-examining the meaning of the act of choosing "what to wear" in everyday life.

We at Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi-ten had the pleasure of installing the bright red lacquer fixtures that shine symbolically within the store. The deep, rich red of the lacquer is achieved through the use of genuine vermilion lacquer and a mirror-like finish using the roiro polishing technique. Please come and see it.
